Hogan Lovells is a leading law firm, with offices in over 40 countries across the world, and an enviable market position based on breadth of practice, industry knowledge, and sound commercial approach. Its clients include large corporations, financial institutions, and government bodies.
The firm employs around 2,300 lawyers, and aims to create a working culture that encourages ambition and facilitates success.
Graduate trainees at Hogan Lovells will complete four six-month placements in various areas of the business to give them a well-rounded experience of the various aspects of law. In the second year, there is also the opportunity to take a secondment in a client’s office or one of the international outposts.
Trainees are given large amounts of responsibility, and as well as studying for a professional qualification, their on-the-job experience will be underpinned by a training programme, regular reviews, and line manager support.
Applications are welcomed from law and non-law students, and the business is looking for those with strong academic ability, ambition, drive, and commercial aptitude. Successful graduates will be given a starting salary of around £38,000, and access to a flexible benefits scheme.
