Microsoft is the global leader in personal and business software, services, and internet technologies. It develops, manufactures, and licenses a range of products and services for various computer devices, and has a worldwide reputation for excellence.

A few of the brand’s key offerings include Windows operating systems, online information products such as Bing and MSN portals, and support and consulting services. Headquartered in Washington in the USA, it has around 97,000 employees across the world.

The graduate programme is called the Microsoft Academy for College Hires (MACH), and lasts for two years. Open to graduates of all degree disciplines, it aims to perfectly bridge the transition between academic and professional life, and is the ideal preparation for a senior role within the business.

Graduates will pursue a specialism in either Sales or Technical, and formal learning and development is underpinned by on-the-job training and continuous mentor support. You’ll be involved in big projects from day one, and have the opportunity to network with other Microsoft graduates all around the world.

There is a starting salary of around £26,000, as well as 25 days of holiday allowance per year, life assurance, health screening, and a generous pension scheme.
